My name is Courtney Clancy, but those who know me best know me as Coco.
Born and raised in Michigan, I love spending time outdoors (preferably near a body of water), and I’m a proud University of Michigan alum (go blue!). After graduating from UofM, I went on to earn my masters degree in Integrated Marketing Communications from Northwestern University, and I spent a few years working in the Windy City before returning to the Mitten.
I currently work as the Director of Marketing and Communications for Western Michigan University's College of Fine Arts, but I always have a side project (or three) going on at home too. Whether it's throwing a vibrant bridal shower, designing holiday cards for a stationery client, packaging the perfect present, or mocking up inspiration boards for the decor of my future home, my creativity has no "off" switch.
Have a project for me? Want to say hi? Shoot me a message!
a bit more about me
I'm a runner.
I may not have the speed or endurance that I used to, but I still find few things more relaxing and gratifying than a long run in the woods.
I speak German.
Es stimmt! I majored in German and spent a summer living and working in Germany. Please don't quiz me on tenses and grammar rules, but trust that I can maintain a conversation auf Deutsch.
I love bar appetizers.
I'm talkin' buffalo wings, cheese curds, beer-battered pickle spears, and potato skins. If it's fried and comes with a generous helping of ranch dressing, I've already ordered it.
I have a rescue pup named Nelson.
...and I'm the proudest (slash most obnoxious) puppy mom you'll ever meet! Nelly is a beagle-mix with the softest ears ever. He's an excellent running buddy and cuddle companion, and he even knows how to roll over!
